L'etichetta Roadrunner Records, nata in Olanda nel 1980, in questi giorni ha pubblicato un vero e proprio countdown che si è concluso ieri, la protagonista è ovviamente la musica.
Oltre ai tanti sondaggi che sforna praticamente ogni fine settimana, un po' di tempo fa l'etichetta ha chiesto ai fan sul suo sito inglese quali fossero secondo loro i migliori album firmanti Roadrunner Records del ventunesimo secolo, o meglio di quel poco che abbiamo appena assaggiato, considerato che è iniziato nemmeno 11 anni fa. La risposta non si è fatta attendere, sono stati contati più di 30,000 voti e sul sito è stata pubblicata la Top 30 in quattro parti a partire dallo scorso 1 Novembre. Diverse sono le band che in questa classifica occupano più posizioni, a partire dai vincitori Machine Head, Dream Theatre, Trivium, Opeth, Within Temptation, Stone Sour e, non ci meravigliamo più di tanto, gli Slipknot. Non mancano artisti che sappiamo apprezzate molto, primo tra tutti Slash, ma anche Nickelback e Alter Bridge.
